Hi I’m Sara
As a lecturer at a university I have five years of experience teaching, specializing in Advanced Clinical Anesthesia. Additionally, I have a year of experience teaching English and Amharic to students all over the world. I love teaching for the satisfaction I feel when I witness students discover new concepts and when I guide them in understanding the most complex material in a simple and relatable ways.
I believe that language learning is also about simplifying the complex ideas of a language and turning them into a fun and engaging lesson. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading, and having deep, meaningful conversations with friends and family.
Hi I’m Ruta
I've been teaching English for almost 3 years now. What I love most about teaching is watching my students grow, from not being able to say much at all to expressing themselves naturally and confidently. It's especially rewarding when they share how much they've improved.
A fun fact about my journey is that I started teaching just for fun as a part-time gig. But once I saw the real impact I could make, I was hooked. I even pursued a TEFL certification after I had already been teaching for a while. I've had the chance to work with students of different ages and backgrounds, and I've found that teaching is just as much a learning experience for me as it is for my students.
Outside of teaching, my favorite thing to do is spending time with my sweet cat, Nala. I also enjoy watching movies and reading a good book.
