When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll find me reading, staying active, enjoying the outdoors, diving into video games, or relaxing with great music.
Hi I’m Amal
My name is Amal, and I am a foreign language teacher with over a year of experience in both French and English teaching. I am very passionate about the beauty in language and the process of making communication possible through it.
When I first started teaching, I was terrified. It is a big responsibility to share new knowledge, so it was sort of frightening to me, but I knew I wanted to do it. A week after teaching English to all ages, you realize there isn't anything frightening about teaching. It is actually a process of exchanging words that can happen at a very comfortable and fun level.
Outside of work, I love to read and watch shows and films. I am essentially passionate about movies/series and I love to write personal reviews about them and read others' POVs, which I always recommend to my students so they can practice their skills.
About teaching, there are many things I cherish. Among them, I believe being someone with whom your students can share all sorts of experiences through the new language they are acquiring is my favorite part.
My experience made me learn that as teachers, not only do we share knowledge to help our students achieve their goals, but we also learn as much from our students as they learn from us.

With 8 years of teaching experience, I love helping people learn to communicate in a new language while discovering different cultures along the way. My teaching style is all about creating a comfortable space where students feel free to make mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens!
Outside of work, you’ll find me lost in a good book, watching movies and shows, jamming to music, or exploring new places whenever I get the chance!

I am a language teacher with over six years of experience teaching Spanish and five years tutoring English. I focus on creating safe and relaxed spaces where students feel free to make mistakes and learn through immersion and cultural context. I work with all ages and I love making language learning fun. Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports, rock and metal music, and playing video games with my brother.
Hi I’m Jhoan
I have been teaching Spanish for over three years and I help my students gain confidence in conversation, grammar, and preparation for travel or events. My approach is approachable, clear, and culturally enriching: I aim for them to connect the language with real-life, everyday experiences. Outside of class, I love dancing, cooking, playing video games, enjoying my country, Venezuela, and exploring the world.

I’ve been teaching for about 10 years. The best part of teaching? Watching my students gain confidence and have real conversations in their new language—it’s an amazing feeling!
A fun fact about my teaching journey? Some of my best classroom moments come from unexpected, hilarious student questions.
